Announcing Linux worker pools on Octopus Cloud
Blog post from Octopus Deploy
Octopus Cloud has introduced support for Ubuntu 18.04 workers, enhancing its capabilities for Linux workloads alongside its existing support for Windows dynamic worker pools. Additionally, Windows 2019 workers are now available, featuring pre-installed Docker to facilitate custom docker image builds, and the enhanced execution containers feature is accessible through an early access program. The worker tools containers have been updated to support the newly released Terraform 0.13. Users can configure an external feed for DockerHub and create runbooks to run bash scripts on Linux workers, illustrating the ease of using the latest Terraform version. These updates aim to improve deployment efficiency and flexibility for users working with both Windows and Linux environments.
