Global Research Survey Results: Leveraging Digital Transformation to Enhance the Customer Experience

As industries undergo digital transformations to leverage new technologies and maintain competitiveness, a survey by New Relic and Vanson Bourne reveals that many organizations are encountering challenges such as disjointed teams, a shortage of skilled employees, and restricted budgets. Despite these obstacles, there is strong support from business leadership, with 90.7% of surveyed IT leaders indicating that digital transformation results met or exceeded expectations. The survey highlights the importance of cloud migration and artificial intelligence, with nearly 88% of respondents considering AI and machine learning essential to their operations. However, challenges such as resource inefficiency in cloud computing and resistance to new technologies persist.
