Announcing Memgraph 2.1
Blog post from Memgraph
Memgraph 2.1 introduces several new features and enhancements following the recent 2.0 launch, focusing on expanding data ingestion options and simplifying user interaction with the platform. The update includes native support for connecting to Pulsar and Redpanda streaming platforms, alongside existing Kafka capabilities, allowing users to process streaming data efficiently. A new built-in procedure, mg.kafka_set_stream_offset, provides greater control over Kafka stream offsets without needing external tools, and automatic transaction retry configurations have been added to handle conflicts more smoothly. Enhancements to query feedback include additional statistics and notifications, improving user experience in Memgraph's CLI tool and Memgraph Lab. Further updates include support for Bolt 4.3, additional configuration options for the Kafka stream query, and fixes for issues related to temporal types, with more details available in the Change Log. Memgraph encourages users to try the new version, participate in upcoming live demos, report any issues, and stay updated via their Discord server and documentation site.
