Takata aims to enhance Mapbox Japan's services by localizing and developing mapping tools that add value for developers and industries. Previously, Takata was Mapbox Japan's CSO and has played a pivotal role in its establishment since its formation in 2020 as a joint venture between Mapbox Inc. and SoftBank Corp. Mapbox Japan is known for its advanced mapping service platforms, utilized by services like Yahoo! MAP and PayPay.
