HashiCorp and Amazon Web Services (AWS) are collaborating to develop Terraform modules for AWS, aiming to enrich the ecosystem with architectural abstractions based on AWS services and use cases. The goal is to provide users with a lightweight and composable way to deploy AWS resources, while keeping the modules open to community participation. These modules are developed in an early stage, allowing for feedback from customers, partners, and the shared community, and will be made available alongside new releases of the AWS Cloud Control provider for Terraform (AWSCC). The collaboration aims to provide practitioners with a unique point of view on efficient infrastructure configurations, directly benefiting from knowledge of AWS internal roadmaps and upcoming innovations.
