HashiCorp has officially released version 1.0 of its Nomad orchestrator tool, which brings several key features including Dynamic Application Sizing, namespaces in the open source version, event stream visualization, HCL2 support, and topology visualization. The new release introduces a major feature that enables organizations to optimize resource consumption through sizing recommendations, addressing issues with self-service workflows and excess application overprovisioning. Other enhancements include namespace management, improved Consul integration, and enhanced user interface features such as event stream visualization and topology mapping. The public beta allows users to test the new features in advance of the general availability release.
