Machine Learning Crash Course
Blog post from Google Cloud
Google's Machine Learning Crash Course (MLCC), initially created for its engineers and taken by over 18,000 Googlers, is now available to the public for free in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Korean, Mandarin, and French. The course provides an intuitive understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts, such as loss, gradient descent, classification models, and neural networks, while also introducing TensorFlow through programming exercises that require minimal Python knowledge. Designed to be accessible to those with a basic understanding of algebra and statistics, the course includes videos, text lessons, and interactive tools to facilitate learning without needing extensive programming skills. MLCC concludes with practical lessons on designing real-world machine learning systems and offers an opportunity to apply newly acquired skills through a Kaggle competition aimed at helping DonorsChoose.org improve the screening process of educational project proposals. This initiative is part of Google's broader effort to make machine learning education widely accessible, as highlighted in their Learn with Google AI program.
