Google Developers Live: our first year
Blog post from Google Cloud
Google Developers Live (GDL), launched a year ago as an extension of Google I/O, has become a dynamic platform for engaging with the developer community through live and interactive sessions from various global offices. With nearly 1,000 videos and millions of views, GDL has been instrumental in connecting developers with Googlers and industry experts, providing insights and feedback on creating innovative applications using Google tools like Android, Google Chrome, and Google Cloud Platform. The platform is not limited to Google products; it also supports initiatives like Women Techmakers and showcases new developments such as the Mirror API for Project Glass and YouTube API v3. GDL broadcasts from locations worldwide and provides archived content for flexible viewing, ensuring developers can access the latest tools and insights in their preferred time zones and languages.
