Google+ APIs: now with Search and more
Blog post from Google Cloud
In October 2011, Google announced enhancements to its Google+ API, incorporating new features based on user feedback. The updates include a search capability that allows users to search for public posts and people through the activities.search and people.search methods, respectively. These features enable developers to query public posts, comments, and user profiles using HTTP requests. Additionally, the API now provides methods to access data about public engagements with posts, such as identifying who reshared or +1'd a post, and retrieving comments through the people.listByActivity, comments.list, and comments.get methods. Google encourages developers to continue providing feedback to refine the API further, highlighting the ongoing conversation on Google+ as a valuable resource for collaborative improvement.
