The Gatsby Best of 2021 Agency Awards were introduced to honor outstanding web agencies that utilized the Gatsby framework or Gatsby Cloud to launch or update client websites in 2021. Open to agencies of any size, the awards featured several categories, including Agency of the Year, Best Site Design, Best eCommerce Site, Best Content Site, and Best Nonprofit/Charity Site. The entry period began on December 14, 2021, and closed on January 31, 2022, with winners announced on March 2, 2022, during GatsbyConf 2022. Prizes included a $1,000 donation to a nonprofit of the winning agency’s choice, a digital award logo, a physical award plaque, Gatsby swag, and a finalist logo for the top five finalists in each category. The awards aimed to celebrate the creativity and technical excellence of developers and designers working with Gatsby.
