Fidel is transitioning from its Slack channel to a new developer community forum to better support and engage with developers accessing its payment data APIs. The Slack channel, which has grown significantly since Fidel's inception, is being retired due to its limitations in preserving information and tracking issues. The new forum is designed to provide a more structured and sustainable way of interacting with developers, offering features such as FAQs, Release Notes, and a space for community discussions. Developers can also submit Zendesk tickets for operational issues. The forum aims to foster a collaborative environment where developers can discuss Fidel's APIs, mobile SDK integrations, feature requests, and more, with plans to expand its functionality over time. The Slack channel will be officially closed at the end of May, and developers are encouraged to join the new community to stay updated and continue receiving support.
