The latest release of Elastic Cloud 7.10 introduces several new features and enhancements aimed at simplifying deployment, monitoring, and management while offering cost-saving options and expanded regional availability. Users can now benefit from solution-specific deployment templates, improved monitoring capabilities through Elastic Observability, and hassle-free one-click upgrades that ensure no downtime. The platform also introduces a new cold tier for storage, allowing significant cost savings by using searchable snapshots in low-cost object storage like Amazon S3. Elastic Cloud now supports deployments in over 40 regions, including new additions in AWS Mumbai and Microsoft Azure Iowa and New South Wales. Furthermore, Elastic Cloud Enterprise 2.7 and Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes 1.3 are now available, offering features like streamlined onboarding, standardized deployments with Helm Charts, and resizing of storage volumes without data migration. Integration with Red Hat OpenShift is enhanced with Elastic Cloud becoming a Red Hat OpenShift Certified Operator, allowing seamless deployment from the OpenShift Operator Hub.
