Korab Shala, a graphic designer based in Stockholm, initially discovered his passion for design in Kosovo, where he first experimented with Photoshop as a teenager. Although he was initially on track to study medicine, his career took a creative turn when he began working in video production, which led him to a 15-year tenure at a Kosovo TV station, culminating in a leadership role in the Graphics Department. Korab eventually moved to Sweden after marrying his Swedish-Kosovar wife, where he adapted to a new culture and language. In 2017, he joined Detectify, a security startup, where he embraced a steep learning curve in web security and diverse design tasks, from creating educational videos to designing sales materials. Korab appreciates the dynamic nature of his work and the strong team spirit at Detectify, which has broadened his perspective on design and allowed him to continually develop his skills.
