Detectify's Crowdsource ethical hacker community has been actively contributing security updates, including zero-day research, to enhance asset monitoring capabilities. The updates are deployed rapidly, within 25 minutes from discovery to integration into the scanner, and while some information cannot be publicly disclosed due to confidentiality agreements, these updates are immediately made available to users. Recent vulnerabilities addressed by the Detectify scanner include a DOM-based XSS vulnerability in the Backbone Query Parameters JavaScript library, source code disclosure issues in the Citrix XenMobile Server, potential backdoor modifications in SolarWinds Orion, and sensitive information exposure in the application settings file of the Microsoft IIS Administration service.
