Kubernetes Control Plane monitoring with Datadog

Kubernetes cluster machines are divided into worker nodes and control plane nodes. Worker nodes run pods and their applications while the control plane node runs the Kubernetes Control Plane responsible for managing worker nodes. Datadog's Kubernetes integrations now provide out-of-the-box telemetry for four main components of the Control Plane: API Server, Controller Manager, Scheduler, and etcd.
