Codefresh has introduced a visual way to view pipeline executions using configurable build stages, enhancing the traditional collapsible log view that lacked a comprehensive overview. This new stage view allows users to define and organize pipeline stages, providing a user-friendly interface that displays the progress of complex pipelines, which is particularly beneficial for those using monorepos. The stages are optional and fully customizable, allowing users to maintain their existing Codefresh YAML files while offering the flexibility to structure their pipeline stages as desired. Each stage can contain multiple build steps, and users can click on individual steps for detailed live logs. This update, available to all Codefresh accounts, is a precursor to the highly anticipated feature of parallel execution of steps, which is currently undergoing internal testing.
