How we improved our Lighthouse score from 70 to 96.

We recently optimized our landing page's performance, improving its score from the low 70s to a high 96 and above using Google Lighthouse, preload local fonts and allow for swapping, PNG-image compression with IMGBot, convert images to WebP and use the picture tag, lazy loading of images, optimize CSS with PurgeCSS and minification, lazy load Intercom, and deactivate unnecessary third-party tools. These optimizations resulted in a significant improvement in page performance and may positively impact our Google-search ranking.
