Chainlink's community grant program provides funding to developers and researchers to enhance the functionality, usability, and impact of the Chainlink network. Recently, Tintash, a technology development company, received a grant funded by the Chainlink community and Hiro to integrate Chainlink oracles into the Stacks smart contract platform. This integration aims to enable developers to create Bitcoin blockchain-based smart contracts with access to Chainlink's off-chain data and computation resources, reducing dependence on other blockchain networks. It will facilitate the rapid deployment of decentralized applications across various industries such as DeFi, insurance, gaming, and NFTs while also supporting the integration of Chainlink price feeds within Stacks. Tintash plans to use the grant to verify and debug Chainlink smart contracts using the Clarity language, test and deploy Chainlink components on the Stacks mainnet, and create documentation for developers. Stacks is an open-source platform that leverages Bitcoin's security for developing smart contract applications, ensuring censorship resistance and transparency. Tintash CEO Murad Akhter expressed excitement about integrating Chainlink's oracle solutions into the Stacks network, aiming to empower developers to create transformative decentralized applications.
