A computer science student at UCLA, Aryan Arora, turned his interest in app development into income by discovering no-code tools like Bubble and founding a nationwide, student-led organization called NoCode UCLA to educate students about no-code tools and provide hands-on experience in app and website development. Prior to finding no-code tools, Arora was involved in iOS development and realized that code was not necessary for building some tech products, which led him to create a service to help his peers build apps with no-code products. After launching the organization, it gained popularity, earning thousands of dollars by producing apps and tech solutions for external startups, and now has 16 members and over 50 learners who attend club workshops to learn about no-code tools. Arora aims to empower students to learn how to build their own apps, even outside of the NoCode club, and plans to expand the organization nationwide with the help of Bubble's partnership.
