My Food Story is an app that aims to increase transparency in the food production system by providing consumers with information about how their food is produced and its impact on the environment, animal rights, and local economies. The app allows businesses to create virtual stores and write stories about their products, featuring pictures, videos, ingredients, and more. It uses a no-code web editor called Bubble to automate tasks such as databases, backups, versioning, and scaling, allowing the startup to focus on user experience and onboarding new staff quickly. The app has recently onboarded its first batch of producers and consumers in France and is developing modules that will allow customers to interact directly with producers, aiming to give more visibility to transparent food production companies and enable informed choices.
