John Williams, a 27-year-old entrepreneur from Rolling Fork, Mississippi, was born in poverty and grew up in a small town with limited opportunities. Despite the odds against him, he pursued his passion for math and science, eventually getting accepted into the Mississippi School of Math and Science, where he excelled academically. He studied finance but soon realized that his skills were more suited to technology. After working at several jobs in Dallas, John discovered no-code tools like Bubble, which helped him build two products: a personal CRM and a mental health tool. With his friend Luke, John is now exploring entrepreneurship, but faces challenges as a black founder in an environment that typically doesn't financially welcome black founders. Despite these obstacles, John remains optimistic about the future and wants to use his experiences to make a positive impact on his community. He dreams of building housing and providing better opportunities for people from his background, creating a pipeline to community college and vocational school.
