The GraphQL Summit welcomed over 10,000 developers and engineering leaders virtually on November 10 & 11 for a two-day event featuring sessions, panels, and workshops. New session tracks were introduced, including the Build Track focusing on best practices for building GraphQL and the Scale Track discussing scaling considerations to improve innovation, velocity, and productivity. Apollo also announced several new releases and improvements, such as Federation 2, which enables unified graph management, Apollo Router, a next-generation Federation runtime written in Rust, Public graphs and embeddable Explorer, allowing developers to access publicly visible graphs, and Contracts, enabling filtered contract graphs for specific audiences.
