Aerospike has released its version 4.2, which focuses on improving efficiency and speed with changes such as a more efficient internal storage format, support for larger records, faster restart times, increased default number of "sprigs", improved intra-cluster communication code, and additional performance enhancements. The new storage format results in lower overhead per record, making the system more performant and reducing wear on writes. This release is available now for both Community Edition and Enterprise Edition users.
