Today we're excited to introduce the Sentry API, which will help ops teams and developers integrate Sentry deeper into their exception handling workflows. The API is expanding rapidly and currently supports various operations such as retrieving, updating, deleting individual events, groups of events, listing all events in a group, listing all groups in a project, and bulk mutating a list of groups. This new development aims to provide a more comprehensive error tracking experience for developers and teams with Sentry, enabling them to debug JavaScript, Python, or PHP exceptions among others.

Introducing Organizations is a new parent entity that will encapsulate Teams and Projects, managing membership and billing at the organization level, simplifying the process and increasing visibility across the organization with tools such as Stats and Audit Log, phasing out Access Groups in favor of Teams, eliminating the concept of Team Owner and providing an Access Group Migration Tool to assist with the transition.
