Summary

We're sharing plans for Timescale Analytics, a new project that aims to identify, create, and combine all the capabilities SQL needs to perform time-series analytics into a single Postgres extension. This will enable developers to make SQL even better for time-series analysis. We've also released TimescaleDB 2.0, which includes user-defined actions, allowing users to refine existing policies and write custom automated procedures and functions to suit their needs. Additionally, we've created a quickstart guide for Go developers to get up and running with TimescaleDB, and shared resources on real-time aggregation, continuous aggregates, and how to build your own monitoring and alerting solution using Grafana and TimescaleDB. Our community has grown to 10K GitHub stars, and we're celebrating this milestone by sharing our favorite resources and tips for using TimescaleDB effectively.
