The Timescale DataPub event featured guest speakers Tudor Oprea and Suhem Parack, who shared their projects and experiences with open data and analytics. Tudor Oprea presented his project DrugCentral 2020, a database that catalogs pharmaceutical drugs and medicines, which uses external resources and classifications to map active pharmaceutical ingredients and understand how they work. He also demonstrated how to use and navigate the database. Suhem Parack shared his experience with Twitter Developer Labs, a new version of the Twitter API Platform, and gave a code walkthrough to demonstrate how to get up and running with tweet sentiment analysis using Context Annotations. The event aimed to showcase different datasets and their applications, and invited attendees to explore these datasets for their own projects.
