What’s New: Extending our Datadog Capabilities With New PagerDuty Widgets

The recent shift towards remote and hybrid work has highlighted the necessity for streamlined communication and collaboration tools, particularly for IT professionals and developers responsible for maintaining digital systems. PagerDuty addresses this need by providing over 600 integrations with various technology partners, allowing clients to incorporate PagerDuty into their customized technology stacks. Notably, PagerDuty has announced new functionalities with Datadog, a crucial integration serving over 3,500 customers. This includes the introduction of two new widgets within the Datadog platform: the Status Dashboard and Incidents by PagerDuty. These widgets enable users to access PagerDuty insights directly within Datadog, reducing the need to switch between multiple tools and improving incident response efficiency. The Status Dashboard offers real-time visibility into system health, while the Incidents widget allows users to take direct action on incidents, enhancing communication and response capabilities. These developments are aimed at simplifying workflows and minimizing application switching for joint customers.
