New APIs Available Now

PagerDuty has introduced new REST APIs designed to enhance integration with custom tools and improve incident management capabilities. The Incidents API allows users to access and integrate incident data into custom operations dashboards, enabling the creation of tailored summaries and incident reports on various timelines. Meanwhile, the on-call Schedule API lets users programmatically access on-call scheduling data, facilitating integration with calendar applications and messaging systems like Campfire and Hipchat. Although these APIs are currently read-only, PagerDuty plans to expand their functionality to allow schedule creation and editing, and they aim to introduce additional REST resources such as user profiles and escalation policies in the future.
