Summary

ngrok October update: no-grok, OAuth, and webhooks for all This month, we focused on two areas you asked for and filled in some other bits to give you a hand: Productivity features to launch tunnels fast and with style, and Security features so you can use ngrok in your org with IT and security approval. We also introduced SSH reverse tunneling as an alternative mechanism to start an ngrok tunnel without needing the agent. New OAuth 2.0 providers were added, including GitLab, LinkedIn, and Twitch, allowing for fine-grained access to those systems. The ngrok agent is now signed to verify authenticity, and a partnership program was launched to make integrations available out of the box. Webhooks.fyi has been updated with new features and assessments, and upcoming events include Longhorn PHP, Zoomtopia, and Nordic APIs: Zero Trust. Other product improvements include preview releases for ngrok-go library and ngrok ingress controller, as well as more webhook verifiers in v3.1.0.
