The MongoDB AI Applications Program: Delivering Customer Value

MongoDB has announced a strategic shift in its AI Applications Program (MAAP) to focus on fostering strategic partnerships, with a significant expansion of its partner network, including companies like Capgemini, Confluent, and IBM, to enhance AI integration and solutions for customers. The program supports companies like CentralReach, which uses MongoDB's technology to improve outcomes for individuals with autism and related disabilities. MongoDB is also deepening its collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to simplify the development of AI applications, offering a new MongoDB Learning Badge to educate developers on integrating MongoDB with AWS's AI infrastructure. Additionally, Dev Ittycheria, MongoDB's CEO, announced his retirement effective November 2025, with Chirantan “CJ” Desai set to succeed him, bringing extensive experience from ServiceNow and Cloudflare. This leadership transition is aimed at guiding MongoDB through its next phase of growth, leveraging the rise of AI and data-intensive applications, which align with MongoDB's strengths.
