The Learning Experience: Celebrating a Year of MongoDB Developer Days

MongoDB's Developer Day events, launched a year ago, have effectively engaged developers worldwide by offering hands-on workshops across over 35 cities in 16 countries, emphasizing collaboration and practical application of skills in using MongoDB. The program, which started with a core team passionate about developer enablement, expanded through cross-functional collaboration with teams like marketing and sales to ensure its wide-reaching impact and continuous improvement. Initial pilot programs in select cities allowed for iterative enhancements based on participant feedback, leading to a successful global rollout. Developer Days are now also moving online to accommodate those unable to attend in person, under the leadership of Lauren Schaefer. The events are designed to foster a sense of accomplishment among developers through collaborative and experimental learning experiences.
