The platform's migration to MongoDB Enterprise Advanced has improved cluster performance, disaster recovery, and operational efficiency, enabling faster deployment of new features like dual SIM support. MongoDB University has been instrumental in equipping Samsung's developers with the necessary skills to leverage MongoDB's full potential. Simultaneously, Riot Games Korea successfully migrated to MongoDB Atlas to manage its expansive game session data efficiently, enhancing the gaming experience and operational efficiency through automated maintenance and performance monitoring. This strategic move, supported by MongoDB's consulting and migration expertise, has significantly reduced data workload and optimized database performance. Riot Games Korea plans to continue its collaboration with MongoDB to drive future innovations in the gaming industry. Additionally, MongoDB's leadership transition was announced, with Dev Ittycheria retiring as CEO by November 2025, succeeded by Chirantan “CJ” Desai. CJ is recognized for his growth-at-scale experience, having contributed significantly to ServiceNow's expansion and Cloudflare's growth.
