Meanwhile, Zepto, an Indian quick commerce startup, successfully transitioned from a monolithic infrastructure to a more scalable and efficient system using MongoDB Atlas, which improved its performance, reduced latency by 40%, and allowed it to handle six times more traffic. The transition helped Zepto overcome previous bottlenecks related to performance, latency, real-time analytics, and data scaling.
