In November 2025, the Data Productivity Cloud introduced several new features aimed at enhancing data team efficiency and streamlining operations. Key updates include enhancements to Maia, the agentic data team tool, which now offers smarter pipeline analysis, context-aware project searches, and the ability to upload context files directly into Custom Connector for quicker connector setup. Maia also supports background processing of conversations and introduces a Branch Conversations list for seamless multitasking. The platform now features two-level variable resolution for cleaner and more dynamic pipelines, as well as the new Pipeline Quality Review, which acts as a "linting engine" to enforce best practices and catch issues before reaching production, ultimately improving pipeline quality and governance. These enhancements aim to make data processes more efficient and reliable, with continued evolution and community engagement encouraged through the Matillion Community.
