The implementation of composable architecture at Parkland, a leading North American fuel distributor and retailer, significantly enhanced its marketing agility by allowing the company to customize its technology stack and respond rapidly to market changes and customer needs. Through the integration of Contentful, Braze, and Segment, Parkland transitioned from a rigid, developer-dependent system to a flexible, scalable platform, which drastically reduced campaign development time and costs while improving personalization and customer engagement. The project, recognized with the 2025 MACH Impact Award for Team of the Year, exemplified the effectiveness of a modular approach that empowered Parkland's marketing team to operate more autonomously and efficiently. By building on existing technology rather than starting anew, the collaboration with Apply Digital showcased how strategic integration and cross-functional alignment can drive significant business transformation and set the stage for future technological advancements.
