The University of Chicago Booth School's MBA students were tasked with researching and designing solutions to urban challenges over the course of 10 weeks. They were introduced to visiting speakers and coaches from various cities, including Detroit, San Francisco, Boston, and New York City, who offered insights into their respective challenges. The students developed prototypes using Bubble software, resulting in innovative solutions such as a group pool grocery shopping app that addresses food deserts, a platform for elderly access to benefits and community activities, and an online platform to report blight issues in communities, among others. These solutions showcased the students' ability to think critically about urban challenges and develop business viable solutions with software prototypes.
