This multi-region cloud solution validates the functionality of their "dual plane" architecture, which separates the oversight of data pipelines from the pipelines themselves. The next steps for Airbyte include expanding into more complex regulatory frameworks and developing a hybrid version of its Open Source and Cloud software that will allow customers to process data on a cloud provider or within their own network.
