As preparations for an upcoming launch are underway, work is being done on the backend to ensure stability and speed, with further updates promised soon. In the meantime, two programming languages, Nu and Io, are highlighted on GitHub. Nu is an interpreted object-oriented language with a syntax inspired by Lisp but semantically closer to Ruby, implemented in Objective-C, allowing seamless interoperability with Objective-C code. Io is a small, prototype-based language inspired by several languages, including Smalltalk, Self, and LISP, known for its dynamic capabilities and concurrency features. Both languages, Nu and Io, have dedicated repositories on GitHub, where users can follow developers Tim Burks and Steve Dekorte for updates on their progress.
