To celebrate "1234567890 Day," GitHub has increased the disk space available to all its users, offering a notable upgrade for both free and paid accounts. Free accounts now benefit from 300MB for storing open-source projects and downloads, while paid accounts have had their storage capacity doubled. This enhancement encourages users to expand their coding activities, as announced by GitHub co-founder Tom Preston-Werner.
