A new 'profile' link has been added to user badges, allowing easy access to public profiles, essentially showing what others can see. Along with this update, a block of information is included, enabling users to share basic personal details with others, enhanced with hCard functionality. Users are encouraged to suggest additional fields they would like to see in the profile. The update was announced by Chris Wanstrath, also known by the handle @defunkt.
